Property tax relief is coming to Texas—but you’ll need to vote for it first

Senate Bill 4 raises the homestead exemption for school taxes from $100,000 to $140,000, while Senate Bill 23 increases exemptions for disabled and senior Texans from $10,000 to $60,000. These measures aim to reduce property tax burdens in high-rate Texas areas.
